Wet-n-Jet at Alamo Ranch redefines a local car wash brand with a modern Texas design that elevates the common rural shed. This flagship facility includes a shaded entry “porch,” day lit wash tunnel and three rainwater harvesting cisterns. Locally sourced materials and a pragmatic attitude about assembly were key considerations in the design process.
Composed of a stout concrete slab, structural steel frame and resilient shell of sheet metal and D’Hanis block, this high-use structure is designed for durability. Drought tolerant plants and river rocks – low maintenance groundcover – complement the site’s native oak trees.
